Twitter!
Well, I guess it’s obvious now that I’m not keeping up with this tumblog. That’s because I’m spending too much time on Twitter. That’s definitely the best way to keep tabs on me from here on out. twitter.com/derekbronish.

Mustache TV! Thanks @youngamerican ! (and thanks Mom and Dad for forwarding this along to me in a very nice care package!)
Mustache TV is the brainchild of brilliant comedian Andy Daly. The idea is to stick the false mustache to your TV screen and wait for the image of a person’s head (or anything else hilarious like a dolphin or a cantaloupe) to align with it. I can’t wait to use it during football season. It will be like stepping in to a time machine!

Yesterday I saw the band sunn 0))) (that’s the official spelling/capitalization of their name) at the Independent in San Francisco. It was an amazing show. sunn 0))) are an experimental “drone metal” band. They write molasses-slow rhythm-free songs comprised of extremely long sustained notes awash with distortion from their imposing collection of vintage amps. They wear robes on stage, and their rotating cast of “vocalists” mostly provide evil chanting or screaming. It was a real spectacle. See the full set of pics on my Flickr.
…if you don’t want the clothes for yourself, buy them and give them to me! (Beware, there’s a quasi-nude model in that link)
Click this link to see my latest set on Flickr, documenting my day out with Diz and Jay

On the left is Mark (aka Diz), my best friend who isn’t Lindsey or Cosmo. On the right is Jay, another great friend who I’ve known since I was about 11. Me and Diz went to Ohio State together, and I knew he was visiting our mutual friend Jay so we got together and checked out a showcase at the San Francisco Comedy College. Diz drops a bombshell on me: he’s not visiting…he’s moved out here indefinitely! Turns out he had been planning the move for months but kept it secret so that it would be a surprise for me! So awesome.
Finally, I managed to upload a video for you all to see! This was the “final project” I did at the end of my first week of training. All of the models were provided, but the story, set dressing, layout, animation, and lighting were all done by me. Enjoy!
